This is a montage of rare books by John James Audubon. Several are "The Birds of America" by John James Audubon published in 1937. The book in the foreground showing a Lynx and one in the back are part of a three volume folio titled "The Vivaparous Quadripeds of North America, 1848" by John James Audubon and John Bachman which was published in 1967. the book in the foreground showing the American Robin is part of "The Birds of America". These books can be found in the Rare Book Collection in the Library at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
