Crew of oomiak on ice with ringed & spotted seals. During a collecting field trip for Denver Museum of Natural History by Alfred M. Bailey and Russell W. Hendee near the Bering Strait, Wales, Alaska. Note the rifles resting on the boat, the spears and the man with the camera. Close inspection reveals the construction of the boat. North Slope County, Wales, Bering Strait. The Museum is currently known as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
