Wanada Largo displays her completed baskets along with one that she is weaving. The pan in front of her contains dye for coloring reeds or water for soaking undyed dry reeds. In front is a bundle of untreated reeds. From the original state to the weaving stage there is laborious stripping and splitting of the reed in preparation for weaving.
