description:
|
Mary Largo is making Tiswin, a non-alcoholic drink, in two large cans over a wood fire. Tiswin is made from sprouted grain, usually corn or wheat, which is ground and mixed in large quantities of water which is then cooked all day. The resulting drink is bitter but refreshing. Picture taken in Burns Canyon.
