Gertrude Van Roekel stated: "George Phone Quintana (1888) and wife Doncasha are in front of the government hospital. Doncasha means 'Thank-you'. Her dress is quite customary, but extra attention has been given to the trim and ruffle at the bottom. Note her silver rings and earrings. George Phone Quintana was a tribal policeman as shown by his star. Later he went into sheepherding and practicing tribal medicine. He was more successful as a medicine man among the Navajo.
