A specimen that handwriting on the original negative envelope refers to as a "pseudo-meteorite". Written in what appears to be ballpoint pen on the emulsion side of the negative is the phrase, "specimen shown as in Okefenokee swamp". Nininger was curator of meteorites at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, 1930-1946.
