Mount being prepared for rhino exhibit. This photo features wooden supports for the plaster mold. Framework of wood, fastened to mold with plaster and sisal which adheres to nails driven in the wooden frame on inside. Taxidermy lab and tools are visible. DMNH staff would often take photographs to document work done at other museums. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
