description:
|
From Dave Baysinger"s notes: the Kanorado locality is well known for mammoth, bison and camel bones in close proximity with human artifacts such as stone knives, scrapers and stone flakes. After systematically removing layers of dirt, the dirt is placed in buckets to be further examined to ensure that small artifacts are found. The sifting creates piles of dirt through the dig site. Note the lack of trees. The canopy provides the only shade at the work site.
