Portrait of a Parsi in a studio in India. The Parsi were a sect of followers of Zoroaster which fled from Persia to avoid persecution by the Muslims. They flourished under British rule and became very successful merchants. Hand written on the negative is "A PARSI". This is a 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" gelatin silver print.
