Maintenance work being done on the Galloping Goose #3 at the railway depot in Placerville, Colorado. These railcars ran on the narrow gauge Rio Grande Southern Railroad through the San Juan Mountains of the Rocky Mountains between the 1930s and early 1950s. It currently resides at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
