Lyons sand dunes at the edge of an ancient seaway (280 million years ago). A sand sea fills the distant sky with row after row of mighty dunes. Slipping down the face of one of these dunes is a pair of squat square-headed protomammals the size of big dogs. In the foreground, a braided stream flows at the base of the dune.
