description:
|
Museum scientist Robert J. Niedrach took a minute to pose next to three baby killdeer birds while on an expedition to the Great Salt Lake in Utah in June 1924. Posed photos in the field aren't common but they give us great insight into not only what the researchers were studying, but how they lived as well. You can see Niedrach's heavy wool shirt and thick leather work gloves which contrast his interestingly formal tie and newsboy cap.
