L-R Gould Construction worker; Kit Hamby, Director of Water and Sanitation - Snowmass; Sam Noel, visitor, Cody Newton (orange vest) aide to Ian Miller/contractor/graduate student, Ian Miller DMNS Chair of Earth Sciences Department and Curator of Paleontology, DMNS Volunteer and Bladerunner Dane Miller. This may be the only excavation where construction workers worked side by side with museum volunteers to remove the largest number of fossils in a short amount of time. Bulldozer drives deftly removed tons of top burden while experienced volunteers sifted through the dirt. Some drivers distinguish when the blade hit rock, bone, or wood by the way "it felt".
