L-R Steve Holen DMNS Curator of Archaeology labels specimens found in location 99-B3 and 99-B4 while unknown person and Ashley Namby daughter of Kit Namby Director of Snowmass Sanitation and Water District look on. This may be the only excavation where construction workers worked side by side with museum volunteers to remove the largest number of fossils in a short amount of time. Bulldozer drives deftly removed tons of top burden while experienced volunteers sifted through the dirt. Some drivers distinguish when the blade hit rock, bone, or wood by the way "it felt".
