Coast Guard Cutter 'Bear' at Demarcation Point, Alaska during a collecting field trip for Denver Museum of Natural History by Alfred M. Bailey and Russell W. Hendee. The Bear was a dual steam-powered and sailing ship built in 1874 in Scotland and outfitted to work the 20,00 miles of Alaska coastline. North Slope County, Demarcation Point. The Museum is currently known as the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
