description:
|
According to Gertrude Van Roeke:, Cevero Caramilla and wife pose along side a mission building where Cevero was the official interpreter. Their hair-dos were characteristic, with his hair wrapped in yarn lightly around the braid and for her, the yarn was wrapped loosely and tied a her ears as it encloses the hair. She has a summer weight rayon shawl. At his death Ceverot believed all his hair and that of the extended family was to be placed in a lofty bow of a tree and left there to decompose. Ill will would befall if it was tampered with.
