Photo of 3 Vigil brothers -Tommy, Lewis, and Philip and cousin Eva Vigil (left) taken in Stone Lake area. The smallest boy, Tommy, is wearing a necklace of beads. According to Gertrude Van Roeket, there was another brother, Charlie, not shown, who became the president of the tribe and often went to Washington, D.C. on tribal business. The Vigil's were one of the more affluent families because of their care of their sheep and cattle.
