description:
|
Hendrina Hospers on left as she visits a summer camp. As the sheep were moved to new grazing grounds, tipis were folded and pitched in the new area. The shrub oak shelters were built at each new grazing site and abandoned when a move was made. The wooden cover over the entrance to the shelter was probably part of a corral. They traveled by horse and wagon with their flocks.
