Gertrude Van Roekel stated: Winter scene indicated by the presence of the handmade sled and box as well as the large supply of firewood. This is probably a three-generation camp indicative of a matriarchal society. The grandmother would occupy the tipi; the daughter and family would live in the improved home. In the distance is a structure made with tipi poles for drying meat, probably deer brought in by the son-in-law.
