description:
|
This is a temporary home near the railroad tracks as the little depot can be seen in the background. It could have been during shipping of hundreds of lambs in the fall, and temporary herders were hired to corral the sheep until loaded into shipping cars on the narrow gauge line. There is meat and skins of an animal drying. This might be used for a floor covering or for material in their leather craft as moccasins, vest, chaps or similar articles.
