From information given by Gertrude Van Roekel: This portable winter home enabled the family to moved to a new grazing area for the sheep. The lady wearing the heavy Pendleton blanket indicates the cold weather as well as the cats around the warm chimney. The belt of the lady, shown hanging below her blanket, has bells attached for decorative purposes.
