description:
Go-Ghee-A was the name of the Harvest Feast held on September 15 according to Gertrude Van Roekel. The runners for the relay race are comprised of eleven on each team with one representing the hills and the other the plains. The Medicine Man painted the designs for swiftness as he blessed them before the Race. The light attire was for swiftness and the feathers in the hair and hands were symbols for speed.
