Rhinoceros mount being prepared for exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois. This photo features the wooden armature which is in two halves from which the mannequin will be made. Taxidermy lab, ropes and pulleys are visible. DMNH staff would often take photographs to document work done at other museums. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
