Robert J Niedrach DMNS Curator of Department of Zoology-Division of Birds, watches Black-footed Albatross dancing in a colony during a collecting trip on Midway Island. The Midway Islands are near the northwestern end of the Hawaiian archipelago which is a part of the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. It has the second largest population of these Albastrosses in the world.. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
