Trilobite(Dicranurus hamatus) found in Coal County, Oklahoma in the Haragan Formation (approximately 400 million years ago). These trilobites lived in a shallow sea that lay between Euramerica and Godwana that corresponds to modern-day Oklahoma and Morocco. Their bodies averaged about 1 inch in length, thought theirspines made them at least 2 inches in length. This specimen is currently on display in the Prehistoric Journey exhibit at DMNS.
