Schooner Bowdoin used for traveling the Atlantic coastline of Canada during fieldwork. During the summer the Museum sponsored an expedition to Labrador, which was financed by a group of eastern business men, and A. M. Bailey accompanied the party on board the Schooner Bowdoin, with Commander Donald MacMillan, the well known Arctic explorer, in command. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
