description:
|
An Adze-like scraper from the Moore Site. 3.5 inches in length maximum width of 3.5 inches. The scraper has a thick butt , is roughly diamon-shaped in the cross-section, and has flat faces. From the butt end the implement tapers to a thin edge at the bottom, which is only flakd on one face. The other edges are not sharp at all and appears to have intentional smoothing of the sides which suggests the tool was grasped in the hand, rather than being hafted.
