A core biface made of black, fine grained, carbonaceous limestone. It is basically triangualr, with rounded corners. The edges were thinned by the removal of large, shallow flakes. One face showed some exidence of polishing. The dimernsions are as follows: Length, 5 1/4 inches, maximum bredth, 3 1/4 inches, thickness, 1/2 inch. The artifact was discovered 4'3" below the surface at the Taylor Site.
