description:

A green half mask with a feather beard. There is a black line over the beard with rectangular panels of all colors. It has long hair. There is a kilt, sash, and green moccasins. It has black and yellow body paint and carries a rattle and a sprig of Douglas Fir. Called Angaktsina in the Hopi Dictionary. "Ang-Ak-China, the Long-Haired kachina is an ancient kachina. It is said that when he dances, a gentle rain usually falls. Singing a melodious song, several Long-Hairs often act as a chorus for ceremonial corn grinding."
