Tiger Dance in progress: men with maracas, native in full leopard skin costume, women and girls dancing, monkey tail visible in foreground. In May 1925, a Museum expedition to South America was undertaken to collect bird and mammal specimens for exhibit in the Standley Memorial Wing. Another trip was organized in 1928 to enhance the collection.
