In May 1925, a Museum expedition to South America was undertaken to collect bird and mammal specimens for exhibit in the Standley Memorial Wing. Another trip was organized in 1928 to enhance the collection. This picture was published in the Rocky Mountain News and The Evening Times, Denver in 1926. Scanning and access made possible by a grant from NEH.
