Cattle round-up at Descalvados [Ranch], Brazil. In 1925, a Museum expedition to South America was undertaken to collect bird and mammal specimens for exhibit in the Standley Memorial Wing. Another trip was organized in 1928 to enhance the collection. The fourth rider from the right, wearing suspenders, is John Gordon Ramsay who hosted museum staff for several days.
