Handwritten on original negative envelope "Great Blue Heron in nest on ground." The photographer Albert C. Rodgers held many positions at the museum including Curator and Chief Preparator of Mammals and many of his specimans are still on display today. He spent hours in the field photographically documenting wildlife for future exhibits.
