Close up of Jumping Spider or Phiddipus audax on green stalk. It is also commonly referred to as the daring jumping spider, or bold jumping spider. Known as the largest jumping spiders with a brilliant, iridescent green chelicerae. See also, hal10-735 image. Fran Hall was a famous insect and bird photographer who lived in Boulder, Colorado. Hall also made documentary nature films for the Audubon Society and Walt Disney. He toured the county showing his films in libraries and in town halls narrating the films live.
