This edited stock footage shows a montage of clips of the Tohono O'odham people. Footage includes a Day of the Dead procession, Papago Stick Games, and photographs of Ruth Underhill attending the Miss. Papago Pagent and the Tohono O'odham Nation honoring by naming her Grand Marshall of the Papago Rodeo Parade when she was ninety-six years old. After graduating from Columbia University in Anthropology, Ruth Underhill studied a group of Native Americans in southern Arizona. Through her scientific research she was able to preserve the original language, poetry and songs of the Tohono O'odham (Papago) people.
