description:
|
One panel of six which make up a northern style ceremonial house screen. The panels are carved out of a cedar planks and painted in red, balck, and turquoise colors. The design represents the Great Raven with this panel the fourth out of six panels. The panel was carved by Lelooska (an adopted Kwakwaka'wakw) but is not necessarily in the authentic carving style for the Kwakiutl.
