Articulated skeleton of Teleoceras, sp., right lateral view. Teleoceras is an extinct genus of grazing rhinoceros that lived in North America during the Miocene epoch, which ended about 5.3 million years ago. A series of glass plate and nitrate film negatives, c.1900-1940s, taken by DMNH personnel during the course of their work documenting the Museum building, exhibits, field work, etc.
